I guess this one is for me, as I am our vocalist. I am a master at Hard difficulty, but can only achieve 80-75% most of the time on Expert, but rarely actually fail at it, so it's all good.
It just seemed like the individual stamps I found on dA were a tad in the lacking department (they were good, just too simple). So I wanted to try my hand at making a more vibrant, edgier, set.
I haven't played that game yet, but to me it seems sort of like a rip-off of Guitar Hero...or maybe not rip-off per say, but it was umm...err...inspired...yeah...that's what I meant...
These stamps look pretty good. I can imagine the game is at least as hard as GH. Wait, are we even talking about Rock Band as in the game here, or am I just confused?

Well, it depends on how you look at things. And yes, we're talking about the game. ^_^
Harmonix was the original creator of GH, and they got bought out by Activision, who pretty much ruined the series for me. Then, Harmonix went on to create Rock Band, which, yes, was inspired by GH, but if Harmonix was the original creator of GH, I don't know if it's so much of a rip off, rather a reinvention of what they lost.
I like Rock Band because it feels like it puts the user first. I don't know if that's necessarily a good thing, but I like it. I like the characters you can make, and the songs aren't all popular shit that were only put in the game to sell copies. Good downloadable content, too.
If anything ripped anything off, the new GH, World Tour, ripped off Rock Band. RB2 was released over a month before WT, and WT managed to put what seems like half of the songlist that was announced for RB2 first. There's just a lot of other little things that turned me off to GH in general...the characters kind of scare me, and it doesn't feel realistic, I guess. I mean, the guitarists are all exaggerated stereotypes of their genres, instead of just having a one of a kind whatever you want in RB.
I care too much. I blame my brother. He got me into it.
I see. I'm not really into that kind of games in general though, but they're a fun activity if there's a party or a get-together of friends, I suppose. But to be honest, I still prefer board-games and the like over multiplayer videogames, unless it's a Super Smash Bros or Mario Party/Mario Kart game.
I might try it out sometime though.

It's not very worthwhile to play by yourself, but even with just another person, it's a blast, especially when you can unlock Xbox 360 achievements at the same time. SSB, too.
